Oh I also forgot Kenion's Eviscerape 2 wow rogue montage from back in BC. (1) ClaYmaN - Incorporated 2 (2) kenion eviscerape 2 Reuploadĥ - I liked Rechyyy's css (and now cs:go) montages. Before WoW I've played Counter-Strike: Source and this was the bomb. The second one made me roll balance as my main to this day (6 years ago). (1) Boneshock Vol 2 ORIGINAL MUSIC (2) Moonfury (3) Slife 2 by Smerch Ĥ1 - Boneshock and Moonfury. If you've not seen it already check out 'The Rhythm of Chaos' Pvp machinima by him: Best pvp machinima I've ever seen. The model in the Blizzard cinematic is of noticeably higher quality.Ĥ8 - Here is the non-side by side version.Ĥ7 - This guy is so talented. The environments look great, but the characters are heavily lacking. It's still listed as "in production" on ILM's website.Īnd yeah Kingsglaive is at another level, sorry, it's not even something subjective, it's just obvious to the eyes how much better it is. They've been working and improving it the entire time. Duncan Jones finished mixing the sound a few weeks ago, and there was a recent article in which he stated that, even though the movie was supposed to be out a while ago, he hasn't been twiddling his thumbs. So the movie has been ready for a long time. Where in the world did you get that assumption from? But speaking of, it does actually seem to be using the Unreal Engine for a lot of stuff, particularly the environments and such. It seems you're assuming that Kingsglaive (the FFXV movie) is done with the ingame graphics, and it's not. They're like paintings, and wouldn't work for a feature film. They don't have any reason to lie.Īlso, another reason it can't be done is the way to do backgrounds in their cinematics. But why would you just assume that Blizzard lies? If they say they can't do it, they probably bloody can't. Just animating and then the sound, and I'm pretty sure they can record a music score separately from the animation stuff. It only took around half a year to finish the filming.īut there is no filming with cinematics. Warcraft has been in post-process for 2 years. Of course it's the bloody process of animating that takes the time. And btw them saying that it takes a year to make doesn't even mean the proccess of animating is what takes time, there's a lot of things that go into a cinematic, same as with "real" movies, filming is just a small portion of the entire thing. "Keep believing everything Blizzard says then, they've never said something that turned out to be false at the end. Like I said, those 4 minutes take a year of polish. Don't get me wrong, FF XV looks really, really good, but not Blizzard cinematic levels. Character models and lighting is light-years ahead in the Blizzard cinematics.
